Royal Caribbean has confirmed the introduction of two new beverage packages aboard 13 of their ships, which will allow passengers to pay a set price per day for a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The Classic and Premium packages will be available on voyages of seven-days or longer and must be purchased on embarkation day. The Classic Beverage Package is available for USD$45 per day per passenger and features beer, house wines by the glass, mocktails, soft drinks and juice, while the Premium Package features the same offering in addition to frozen drinks and cocktails for USD$55 per day per passenger. ¡°Royal Caribbean is in the midst of an extensive revitalisation program that will leave no ship untouched and includes enhancing the variety of new dining and beverage options for our guests,¡± Royal Caribbean International executive vice president operations Lisa Lutoff-Perlo said. ¡°The addition of these new beverage and culinary packages creates a seamless vacation experience for our guests, providing them with a greater selection of choices and delivering it to them at an incredible value and convenience.¡± Beverage packages are currently available aboard: Legend of the Seas; Grandeur of the Seas; Splendour of the Seas; Independence of the Seas; Vision of the Seas; Oasis of the Seas; Allure of the Seas; Freedom of the Seas; Navigator of the Seas; Mariner of the Seas; Brilliance of the Seas; Adventure of the Seas; and Explorer of the Seas and will be rolled out across all remaining ships in the fleet by early 2013. |
