Thailand based hotel-management company, ONYX Hospitality Group, is pleased to announce the appointment of Amrita Bhalla as Chief People Officer.
In her new role, Bhalla is responsible for developing and advancing the human resources organisation for ONYX Hospitality Group¡¯s global operations. Bhalla will be developing and driving the people strategy at ONYX and delivering innovative HR services and solutions that will help fuel the company¡¯s growth. She will oversee talent acquisition, learning and development, rewards and recognition and organisational leadership.
Bhalla¡¯s experience in global human resources spans across North America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia. She brings experience from some of the world¡¯s leading hospitality brands, including Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and The Oberoi Group. Most recently, Bhalla was the Executive Vice President of Human Resources at The Oberoi Group responsible for the group's global human resources function including the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development. She began her career in human resource consulting with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Bhalla holds a Masters in Industrial Relations from Queen¡¯s University in Kingston, Canada. She is also a certified Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR).
