CEO Summit helps shape future consumer electronics sector

The Global Sources’ fall 2012 electronics trade shows open at AsiaWorld-Expo today, featuring a record of 4,000 booths. The co-located China Sourcing Fairs: Electronics & Components, Security Products and Korea Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components take place from 12-15 October.

The fall electronics trade shows feature the largest group of mainland China suppliers to exhibit at any electronics trade show in Hong Kong. More than half of the exhibitors at the Fairs are from mainland China. Others are from Hong Kong, Taiwan and other regional manufacturing centres, providing buyers an ideal venue to view and source competitive electronics products from across Asia at a single event.

The Fall China Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components features Asia's biggest in-car electronics and GPS pavilions and Hong Kong's largest pavilion showcasing computer terminals, peripherals and networking products. The iProducts accessories and tablets & accessories pavilions are unique in Asia.

Moreover, the Global Sources’ Fall 2012 CEO Summit also takes place at the Fairs today. Co-organized with the Hong Kong Information Technology Federation and Consumer Electronic Alliances, the Summit gathers executives from some of the world’s largest and most innovative electronics manufacturers and retailers, sharing industry insights with a focus on the development of mobile devices. The Summit provides a platform for industry professionals to network and share forecasts about the fast-growing consumer electronics market.
