Bangkok Airways will add a third flight for its Bangkok - Yangon route to meet growing demand. The addition flight for Bangkok - Yangon sector will be effective from 15 September 2012 onwards, and Yangon - Bangkok sector on 16 September 2012.

The additional flights are PG705 Bangkok - Yangon (2015 - 2130) and PG706 Yangon - Bangkok (0715 - 0930). Both flights will be operated daily, with 70 seater ATR aircraft.

Bangkok Airways started the non-stop service on this route since May 2004. The airline currently operates this route with 162-seater A320.
