Empowering Change Through Collaboration: A Citywide Event From September 25-27, 2012 City Partner Cohn & Wolfe-impactasia today announces the return of Social Media Week Hong Kong (SMWHK). This unique event, hosted through a series of conferences and online platforms, will take place across the city from September 25-27, 2012. SMWHK has solidified its position as the most significant event in the annual digital calendar, showcasing the most prevalent social media topics and dialogue from various industries. Returning for the second time this year, the Hong Kong event date change is part of a strategic move in order to better observe regional celebrations for the Lunar New Year, and further strengthen hyper-digital participation and reach. All future SMWHKs will now be held in the month of September. With the emphasis on ¡°Empowering Change through Collaboration,¡± this global event explores the social, cultural and economic impact of social media whilst encouraging communities to connect on a local level.
