Two Staycation packages redefine luxury city break to delight epicureans
According to an age-old adage, there is no better way to someone＊s heart, than through their stomach. For an ethereal combination of gourmet, luxury and romance, Singapore Marriott Hotel is offering an epicurean escape at their property located in the renowned foodie capital, Singapore.
To celebrate its relaunch following a recent refurbishment project, the Hotel is inviting guests to experience its newest room categories with two Staycation packages, which also showcase the Hotel＊s full range of newly-added dining options to entice gourmands.
Located on Singapore＊s celebrated Orchard Road, the iconic property is offering two lavish room packages; Love is in the Air and A World of Two.
Ideal for a romantic getaway, Love is in the Air offers personalised romantic gestures, from a bottle of Champagne placed in the guestroom upon arrival, to a romantic four-course dinner with wine pairing at the Hotel＊s resort-style alfresco restaurant, Pool Grill. The package includes a one-night accommodation in a Premier Deluxe Room with breakfast for two at Marriott Cafe.
The Hotel pulls out all the stops with A World of Two for the ultimate retreat. Be enamoured by the welcome bouquet of flowers, a dozen fresh oysters and a bottle of Ros谷 Champagne served in the guestroom. Romantic gestures continue apace with a butler-drawn scented bubble bath and a plate of chocolate-dipped strawberries to accompany. Complete the experience with an idyllic picnic at Sentosa Island＊s Tanjong Beach with a pre-packed hamper of delicious treats and fine wine from Java+ and two heart-shaped cookies. This includes signature dishes such as Crispy Pork Saddle with Pancetta Prune and Mixed Herbs, live pulled noodles, an extensive grill menu, alongside renowned local dishes such as Chilli Crab, and a large selection of oysters, snow crabs, crayfish, and prawns at the Seafood Station.
Java+, a new deli outlet offers a selection of premium cured meats, cheeses, pickles and dips, alongside delectable homemade cakes, freshly-baked breads, sandwiches, salads and quiches answering all foodies＊ dreams for high quality food on-the-go.
Guests may also opt to dine-in at Java+, an ideal spot to unwind in the evenings with its dramatic pendant lights and a bar counter offering views of the busy hotel lobby. Here guests can savour a glass of their favourite wine and enjoy authentic Spanish tapas.
With its resort-like setting adjacent to the Hotel＊s rooftop swimming pool, the award-winning Pool Grill offers the best of both worlds with its tranquil setting against the urban landscape and skyline in the heart of the city. The restaurant＊s contemporary dishes are prepared using the freshest ingredients, to serve up classics such as its Caesar Salad, theatrically prepared tableside.
Singapore Marriott Hotel＊s SGD 35-million renovation, fully funded by Tang Holdings was overseen by world renowned design team, Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA), giving the Hotel a new lease of life.
