Travelport has revealed its Rooms and More booking engine’s portfolio of properties have tripled since its inception last year, now with a total of 340,000 hotels to choose from.
Launched just over a year ago, Travelport Rooms and More is a completely integrated booking platform, available in over 70 countries and six languages.
“The case for developing Travelport Rooms and More was a strong one as it complements our GDS hotel offering and benefits everyone in the supply chain,” Travelport GVP hospitality and partner marketing Niklas Andreen said.
“Importantly, it negates the need for leisure travel agents to search for hotel offers on multiple websites, instead allowing them to access and book commissionable accommodation offers through one quick and easy process.”
New content has recently been acquired from booking providers Hotelzon and Tourico Holidays.
The business service provider also signed a full content agreement with Air China, ensuring Galileo, Apollo and Worldspan customers continue to have full access to the airlines’ fares and inventories.
The multi-year agreement will provide instant access to itineraries and flight information, as Air China will be implementing online-check in on Travelport’s ViewTrip website.
