Indonesians are taking up an overseas holiday instead of staying in the country for the week long break of Lebaran, according to Skyscanner observations.

Singapore takes the top position as the most popular searched destination followed by Australia, Thailand and then Malaysia.

Other countries in the top 10 searched include the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia and France, showing that Indonesians are also looking at long-haul flights during this holiday period.

Skyscanner’s Market Development Manager for Indonesia Ira Noviani, said it was clear from these results that more Indonesians are choosing to travel abroad during the Lebaran holiday.??
