Travel agents worldwide will now be able to access Castaway Island in Fiji booking information online with the launch of a new agent site detailing the island's information, images and availability.
Castaway sales and marketing manager Karen Marvell showed e-Travel Blackboard the new site where agents can browse a collection of images, get relevant up to date information, and check availability on a calendar before booking through a preferred wholesaler.
"Castaway Island is so popular that come booking school holidays time, it's can be hard to find availability," Ms Marvell explained.
Updated every Saturday, the calendar will allow agents to see live availability, making it easier to suggest dates to clients before booking with a preferred wholesaler.
In addition, the images on the site give a detailed overview of Castaway Island and the resort facilities, including the very recent renovations on the property's two pools.
Ms Marvell also revealed that long time Castaway Island resort manager, Dawn Wakeham will be retiring on 26 May 2012, after 15 years with the island. Current manager of operations, Steven Andrews will step up to replace Ms Wakeham in May.
Agents can log onto the site at www.agents.castawayfiji.com and use the following log in details:
