Indonesia¡¯s new full service carrier, Pacific Royale Airways has signed a two-year agreement with Abacus International to provide full fares and inventory to the company. With the carrier¡¯s fleet expected to takeoff in March this year, the carrier will provide its booking information to the company from 20 February this year allowing agents to book through the revenue partner. Pacific Royale Airways founder Tarun Trikha explained the agreement would give the carrier access to the Group¡¯s agents database. "As a full service airline we aim to distribute our seat inventory through Travel Agency and Abacus, as the largest GDS in this region,¡± Mr Trikha said. The carrier¡¯s chief executive Samudra Sukardi added that as a ¡°newcomer¡± the partnership would help ¡°boost¡± the airline in the right direction. ¡°The partnership provides us with the platform that we need to grow our business in Asia Pacific and allows us to leverage on Abacus¡¯ wide network of agents and solid expertise in the region,¡± Mr Sukardi said.? ¡°With plans for domestic flights and potential international flights to Asia, we hope to leverage Abacus dominant network to drive sales and yield.¡± Pacific Royale Airways has received permits to fly on up to 81 routes including to destinations in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia. |
