Google has launched a new search tool for travellers looking to explore their hotel and attraction choices before takeoff. Unveiling the experimental site earlier this week, Hotel Finder provides holiday-makes with a number of avenues to select a hotel, discover it and then book it. Like any Google search engine, travellers can search for a property by typing the name into the bar or select a destination and then filter through options by selecting preferred check-in and check-out dates, price or hotel stars. After hitting search, the engine then supplies the viewer with a selection of choices. Travellers can then click a hotel, see its location using Google Maps and flick through photos of the hotel. Once the hotel shopper has selected their desired hotel they can then check out prices on various online booking engines including Expedia, Hotels.com or Booking.com to name a few. Great or nothing new, what are your thoughts on the new hotel search site?
