2012 Europe & Britain brochure launched 6 weeks early to meet client demands
As 2011 comes to a close, Trafalgar (www.trafalgar.com) is outpacing its competitors and defying soft market sentiments by clocking in over 3000 definite departures for its summer 2012 European itineraries. With the new 2012 Europe and Britain brochure recently launched worldwide, the world¡¯s leading tour operator for guided holidays successfully received a huge surge of bookings due to increased client demand and loyal agents who promoted early booking offers.
With all European regions exceeding the regular number of definite departures, Trafalgar had a record of 600 departures for Italy alone. As the number one global tour operator in Italy, the company recently released its latest range of dedicated 2012 Italian itineraries which offers Trafalgar exclusives, such as Be My Guest dining experiences and Hidden Treasures.
As an example, on the 8-day Italian Holiday trip, clients will have the opportunity to visit Fattoria di Maiano, a 15th century estate with over 20,000 organic olive trees, producing Laudemio, one of the finest olive oils in Europe. Guests will be welcomed to the estate by a member of the family of Count Mairi Fulcis and indulge in regional cuisine and Chianti Rufina wine with a Be My Guest dinner.
On the 11-day Flavors of Italy trip, clients will love all of the authentic and in-depth experiences that are unique to Trafalgar. While in Tuscany, guests will spend 3 nights at the stunning Villa Il Poggiale in the picturesque Chianti hills. They will also head to a local market in Florence and receive cooking lessons from a professional chef, using the fresh produce from the region. The itinerary includes a Highlight Dinner in Parma and sampling culinary specialties in Bologna.
¡°As the Insider, we¡¯re providing our guests with the opportunity to travel the world like a local and the confidence of knowing that their booked vacation is a definite departure,¡± says Nicholas Lim, Regional Director for Trafalgar Asia. ¡°We have our trade partners to thank for this strong start despite what the world economy is today. We too believe that the new product offerings from our global re-positioning exercise have also helped. Hence, it abodes well for both travel agents and consumers as these definite departures give everyone the confidence in the Brand and in what we do.¡±
By rolling out numerous definite departures, Trafalgar gives clients the opportunity to take advantage of fantastic savings as well. Consumers can now save 10% on any Trafalgar European and North American holidays booked from now till 31st January 2012 and travel agents will be able to use this opportunity to maximize their forward booking. |
