The 2010 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX is September 24 to 26. The event is not just for Formula One motorsport fans as the night race is a spectacle to behold and more than $4 million Australian dollars

(SGD $5 million) is being spent on additional entertainment. New entertainment has just been announced - Andrea Bocelli's prot¨¦g¨¦s the DIV4S and Italian production maestros Studio Festi. Other entertainment announced to date includes the Jack Fields Trials Stunt Bike show and Warriors of Brazil capoeira performance. The headline acts are due to be named at the end of July.

Singapore GP is introducing two iconic Italian acts to the night race for the first time. Italian production maestros Studio Festi and Andrea Bocelli's prot¨¦g¨¦s, the DIV4S, will be transforming sections of the circuit park into a visual and musical treat, complete with dramatic sets, lavish scores and acrobatic numbers.

Ms Sarah Martin, Director of Operations, Singapore GP said "for the price of one ticket, fans get to enjoy three full days of race action plus a diverse line-up of world-class off- track entertainment which is what makes the 2010 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX a truly premier sporting event."

Studio Festi productions are best characterised by gravity- defying acts such as life-sized pianos and ships with dancers and acrobats in grand costumes are suspended mid-air. The troupe's use of lighting, pyrotechnic displays, and oversized video projections engages live audiences. Studio Festi have performed at major festivals and sporting events globally and they will delight the audience with their outdoor performance at the SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX.

The Studio Festi's after dark audiovisual show will light up Zone 4 of the Marina Bay Formula One street circuit. In conjunction with the Italian Institute of Culture Singapore, theatre producer Valerio Festi and acclaimed director Monica Maimone will collaborate to present the audiovisual show called Italian Harmony on qualifying and race day (September 25-26).

"We are thrilled to be showcasing Italy's leading outdoor spectacle in Singapore" said Professor Ostelio Remi, Director, Italian Institute of Culture. "Studio Festi boasts an unprecedented creative vision and the 2010 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX serves as the perfect platform for us to share Italy's excellence in arts and culture with a sophisticated race audience."

Hitting the stage on an equally high note are the DIV4S, an ensemble of four Italian sopranos, the prot¨¦g¨¦s of legendary tenor Andrea Bocelli. This glamorous quartet will be enthralling race-goers with a repertoire including evergreens, Italian classics, cinematic hits and soothing arias. Their multi-octave falsettos accompanied by strings and orchestra suggestions make for an enchanting performance in an electrifying night race atmosphere. The DIV4S will be performing at the F1 Village Stage in Zone 1.

Desir¨¨e, Isabella, Vittoria and Sofia, (their initials make up the group name) all young and full of enthusiasm, hail from a similar background of conservatory studies. In 2008, DIV4S performed in Rome - side by side with maestro Andrea Bocelli - a repertoire of opera arias songs and enjoyed rave reviews from the public and critics. This November, they will be singing alongside Andrea Bocelli again in tour of the United Kingdom.
