A British Airways plane landing at London Heathrow on Saturday was met by an ambulance hazmat team after six of its passengers fainted. The hazmat team boarded the Boeing 777-200 aircraft with protective suits to check the condition of the six passengers who said they felt light-headed before fainting. Authorities told the Aviation Herald that hazmat services examined the aircraft for two hours before declaring the aircraft was safe and allowing medical staff to board. None of the affected passengers needed to be hospitalised. While the exact cause of the incident is still unclear, police concluded that it was "not suspicious." |
