Three new properties have been added to the luxury JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts portfolio, to open between 2010 and 2011 in Peru, Libya and Puerto Rico.
Within four years, the brand will grow with 25 new properties, bringing its luxury portfolio to span 26 countries in 68 locations.
“These new additions are testimony to the attractiveness of our JW Marriott brand among hotel developers even in today’s difficult economic and financial environment,” said Ed Fuller, President & Managing Director, International Lodging, Marriott International.
The properties include the 150 room JW Marriott Hotel Cuzco, Peru, set to open in 2010, and the 370-room JW Marriott Hotel Tripoli, Libya and 371-room JW Marriott Coco Beach Resort & Spa, Puerto Rico, both of which are scheduled to open in 2011.
“This brand has defined itself as providing luxury for the times,” Fuller continued. “It has proven itself over the years as a luxury brand that provides purposeful and meaningful services, amenities and environments.”
“These attributes are designed to assist our guests in achieving their personal goals while advancing their ambitions without distraction or disruption whether they are traveling on business or pleasure.”
These properties are expected to contribute to the ongoing recognition of the JW Marriot Brand.
Recently, a BusinessWeek magazine survey ranked the brand in the world’s top 25 customer orientated brands, and a JD Powers survey ranked JW Marriott in the world’s top three luxury brands.
Fuller agreed, “We’re also proud that customers rank our JW Marriott branded hotels among the best service providers in business.”
Nevertheless, JW Marriott intends to continue pushing boundaries in its new properties.
Fuller noted that while the luxury brand is comfortable in major destinations, with emerging luxury markets and established resort locations, the brand also seeks developing areas for future growth.
The anticipatory and comprehensive services provided by JW Marriot provide a useful environment for business travelers.
In fact, the next two years will see JW Marriott hotels opening in Kazakhstan, Colombia, India, China and Vietnam. |
