The World Expo Shanghai 2010 to be held in Shanghai from 1 May to 31 October 2010, will be a platform for a worldwide exchange of ideas in regards to the world economy, culture, science and technology. “City of Possibilities, Transforming Lives” will be the theme for the Singapore Pavilion which will stretch 3000 square meters and will aim to highlight the country’s sustainable development and other aspects not as well recognised. “The pavilion will be built to engage and inspire, providing visitors with the ultimate in sensory experiences, hence the need for us to partner a strong multi-disciplinary team of creative talents,” said Mr. Ken Low, Assistant Chief Executive, Brand & Communications, STB. Teams that are interested and have excellent track records and credentials are encouraged to submit entries and participate in a tender submission process. The team would ideally comprise of design experts in different fields such as architecture, advertising, digital media or environmental design. Entries close 8 October 2008.
