Trondent Launches Upgraded and Redesigned AirMAIL Service

Trondent Development Corp., a leading provider of web-based software applications and data management services to the travel industry, has launched a new and upgraded version of AirMAIL, the company¡¯s ?electronic itinerary and invoice delivery system.

AirMAIL, originally launched by Trondent in 1994, is an automated solution that e-mails fully customized travel documents as an Adobe PDF attachment.? The new release of AirMAIL has been completely redesigned to enhance the overall traveler experience and now includes a complimentary TravelGUIDE section, highlighting current and traveler-centric information about major destination cities on each itinerary.? Processing in excess of 45 million transactions each year on behalf of travel management companies and BTN 100 corporations, document delivery continues to be one of Trondent¡¯s core competencies.

TravelGUIDE, a newly added section to Trondent¡¯s AirMAIL service, provides travelers with customized, relevant and useful information about each destination city included in their itinerary.? Using the latest geo-coding technology, TravelGUIDE provides travelers with a list of local restaurants, events and business services within close proximity to their hotel.? Using Trondent¡¯s AirWEB site, travelers can set their TravelGUIDE preferences to ensure that the content matches their personal desires.? This includes: restaurant cuisines; local venue classifications; event types; imperial vs. metric measurement; etc.
