Battle of F1 giants resumes at 10th running of Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix

Tuesday, 11 March 2008

Celebrating its 10th edition, the Formula One Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix will be held from March 21 – 23, 2008 at Sepang International Circuit (SIC), with organizers expecting to attract over 125,000 spectators from around the world.

The 2008 Formula 1 Grand Prix World Championship opens in Melbourne, Australia on March 14, followed by Malaysia the following week. As in past years, SIC promises to, once again, provide one of the stiffest tests on the FI calendar for the racing teams and drivers with its challenging weather and demanding 5.543-km circuit.

Organised since 1999, the Formula One Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix is more than just a race for Malaysia. It has become one of the most important international events to promote the destination and one of the most anticipated races on the F1 calendar among racing fans.
