Clare joined Six Senses Spas in April 2006 after working freelance for several years as a wellbeing and spa consultant with such clients as: TUI, Unique Spa and Marriott A&C. Her passion for health and wellness led her into the spa industry to join forces with veteran Spa consultants Wheway Lifestyle, during which time she developed their Alanya Spa concept with them. Clare brings a wealth of diverse hands-on experience to her new role, having authored regular articles on health and wellbeing and published her book “The Energy Source”, lectured on subtle energy and healing and run her own therapeutic massage clinic. She originally trained as a classical dancer and worked as a freelance choreographer and opera director throughout Europe and the US, including a five year residency as director and choreographer of the English National Opera, London.
Emlyn has been with Six Senses Spas for over two years, initially as the spa director for the Six Senses Spa at Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay Bodrum in Turkey. Prior to joining Six Senses he held the position of leisure and spa manager for the award-winning Burj al Arab in Dubai. Prior to that role, his passion for health and fitness was rewarded when he spent seven years with Holmes Place Lifestyle Clubs, progressing to European regional general manager. Emlyn brings a wealth of hands-on experience to his new role, having operated and managed spa and leisure operations in Europe and the Middle East. He has a diploma in Leisure Management from UCS and later studied Sports Science at West London Institute.
Sheron brings with her over 20 years of health and fitness experience, most recently as group operations manager for the high-end male day spa and retail brand The Refinery, where she oversaw the Harrods city store, Mayfair and Bishopsgate locations in London. Prior to this Sheron was general manager of the exclusive Bliss Spa in London. Previously she held senior operations and membership roles within Four Seasons hotels in Singapore and Tokyo, Japan. Sheron is an Australian National and graduated with an Honours Degree in Applied Science from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. She is also a certified personal trainer and instructor with a passion for the outdoor sports. |

Clare West – Managing Director Europe – Six Senses Spas. Clare West has assumed the role of managing director Europe for the Six Senses Spas brand from her previous role as European operations and development manager. In her new role she will continue to pursue potential development projects in line with Six Senses Spas’ expansion strategy and oversee the existing Six Senses Spa operations in Europe - ensuring they meet group standards and best practices.
